Another one down

And another one started. Just finished Robert Jordan's Path of Daggers (Wheel of Time #8). It was decent. The biggest thing I noticed (in the story) was that everything is getting more and more messed up and (in regards to the audio itself) that the Audible production is so much easier to use. By far the easiest and cheapest way to do audio books.

And I started a new book (also via Audible), The Forgotten 500.

That's the last Wheel of Time book I read. I thought the series was good up to Lord of Chaos, but as of book 7 things just started taking too damn long, and book 8 was simply a drag. I've been told that it gets better again after this.

I've been up and down on this series since I started listening to it a few years back. I did okay with the first 3 or 4 books then lost interest. After a long break, I got back into it and now, meh, it's okay. I think I'll finish the series just because I'm weird like that, but I already know it won't be as good as other books I've read.

Thanks for stopping by!
