Dangerously Close

  • I'm dangerously close to being good at Wii bowling (I actually won a game last night).
  • I'm dangerously close to not playing Wii boxing with Yvonne again (while I won the first fight in the second round, she TKO'd me in the second fight early in the first round).
  • I'm dangerously close to leaving work (don't worry, I'm supposed to leave early today).
  • I'm dangerously close to buying a big screen TV (I really want to spend that tax refund, but I also want to save it).
  • I'm dangerously close to going ape-shit on Lance crackers (they're "cheese crackers" have peanuts in them!)
  • I'm dangerously close to finishing The Blade Itself (yes, "dangerously close;" if you've read the book, you'll understand my desire to keep reading the story)
  • I'm dangerously close to wanting to see The Blade Itself as a movie (while never a big fan of books-turned-movies, I really want to see Bayaz dripping wet and naked [note: for those that don't know, Bayaz is an old man, a wizard, but he's pretty damn powerful and I don't want to ruin the book so I won't tell you what he does])

I know what Bayaz does!!! The Blade Itself would make a decent film. Lots of action, very bloody. And...mmm dentistry torture scenes.

Looking forward to your final thoughts!

HAH!! You want to see an old man all dripping wet and naked, I knew there was something wrong with you. Does Yvonne know about this, or worse, is she comfortable with that?! What a weirdo!

Just kidding, I've got to get into that book, you make it sound worth the effort, and since you got me addicted to crack... err, The Name of the Wind I would do well to check this one out. Except, I've got a lot of reading sitting in queue, and I'm waiting to see your comments on the one book you got, the assassin one.

Now, have you thought about the idea that if Yvonne is so good at Wii boxing that you may want to tread lightly around her from now on. If she can kick your butt in video games I'd not be the least surprised if she suddenly blogged pics of your mangled face and telling everyone what you did wrong, i.e. no flowers for birthday, spent money on big stupid TV when she wanted nice dinner, etc...

I'll try to get my final thoughts out this morning, depends on my work load at, well, work.

And dentistry torture - ouch!

And Yvonne is only better at Wii boxing than me because she boxes like a complete spaz. But it works so I guess I shouldn't knock it.
