So, the other day, I was doing something like taking a shower or going to the bathroom when I come out to hear Elizabeth running around. She tends to make some rapid trips up and down the hallway between our room and the living room or William's room and the living room. So when I come out, she's rolling around on the bed with this big grin on her face like she's up to something. On the floor is her little magna-doodle book.
What trickery was she up to? She drew a picture of me. That's right, a picture of Dad. I was very impressed with her artistic skills and she only needed my help to draw the arms.
So here's the final result.

I'm no expert on child development and art, but that drawing is TERRIFIC for only 3.5 yrs old.
Maybe I need to get her an easel and some drawing paper and pencils? and paints?
Grandma Gayle
Only if the paints and pencils are washable. Lord knows I don't want to be scrubbing walls.
But she has started to color more the past few months. So maybe a coloring book?
And she likes crafts too, but I'm not too keen on painting. But I usually make a bigger mess than she does.
Could see do a guest comic for me? I'll pay her in cheese doodles.
I'm sure we could work out some sort of payment plan. Say five color pictures for a small set of Lincoln Logs? Just remember, you'll need to come up with the dialogue on your own.
What a cute drawing of her dad. That is great she loves to draw and color. My boys can't sit still for two minutes to draw or color anything.:)
