Licensed to teach English and History in the state of Virginia. Full time #housespouse. I'm just trying to live a happy life. I read, I run, I write, and I do other goofy stuff.
I know, I know, what a poor time to drive traffic. Well, once you get settled in, step over to Library Dad and tell me what to read next. Or else I'll be forced to make a decision.
Actually I've gotten about half way through it. I vaguely remember the midget guy getting stuffed into a dungeon or cage or something way up on a hill. That's about where I lost interest. But I'm willing to give it another go.
I still say my way is better (Neil), anyway, like I said, I've tried GRRM but just gave up (although I will try again soonish). As for Baker's work, I've heard the name many times, but have never given it a shot. Guess I get to add that to my list too.

Really, A Game of Thrones is among the best fantasy novels I've ever read. The sequels are just as good, too.
Have you read R. Scott Bakker's Prince of Nothing series? I enjoyed it a great deal, though it's a definitely not for everyone.
