I'm no longer a you-know-what from home virgin

That's right folks, the end of my first day of you-know-what from home is nearing. I spent an odd hour or so this morning wondering what I was going to do with my extra time. And that was after sleeping in a good 45 minutes. Wow.

Lunch was nice. I was able to enjoy some peace and quiet with Yvonne, my lunch, and my crossword puzzle. I attended my group activity via phone and actually got more done than I expected. The distractions are different but there are no more or less than normal.

And the best part? I'll be "home" in an hour. Just milliseconds after I leave you-know-what.

Yeah baby, I'm not a virgin anymore!

I am glad it went well. Hope it continues to do so. Best part besides no driving? You can work in your sweats. Or jammies. Or skivvies. Or whatever. We wont tell.

You know, working from home is my penultimate fantasy (of course my ULTIMATE fantasy is I'm a working WRITER from home)...but I got a taste of it this past spring when I was designing the website for my office and I found it challenging to stay on task.

I have had to accept that I may not be disciplined enough for it.

Sounds like it's working for you though - which is awesome. Good luck - and keep us posted.

Well so far it's been great. I have the shortest commute ever which balances with being cooped up in the same room all day. So far I've been good at separating the daily routine from home life.
