I enjoyed your comments on the Lost Book Challenge blog... insightful! What makes you think Hawking is behind Ilana, just kind of process of elimination of who seems to have power when it comes to the island? I'm soo curious if the statue thing is our actual, ankh-holding huge one... My biggest questions with the show at this point is definitely how that all ties together...
Mostly because Hawking is the only person left not on the island that knows about it. Sure, it could be some group that we haven't eve n met yet (like an ancient Egyptian brotherhood of protectors), but I don't think they have enough time to get all of that into the show.
